SIMONS SUFFOLK, May 18 - William J. Simons, a prominent farmer of Nansemond County, died at his home near Myrtle, last night at 11 o’clock, after an illness of two weeks, aged 68 years. He is survived by his widow and three sons, Joseph Simons, of Miami, Fla.; Edward Simons, and Will Simons of Nansemond County; four sisters, and one brother, Mrs. M.E. Darden, of Chuckatuck; Mrs. R.W. Ashburn, of Nansemond County; Mrs. C.T. Nelms of Newport News; Mrs. Paul J. Powell of Myrtle, and Samuel J. Simons, of Myrtle, who is now very ill at his home. The funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock at Western Branch Church, conducted by the Rev. J.S. Cobb, assisted by the Rev. L.F. Paulette and the Rev. S.K. Emerian. Interment will be in the church cemetery. William J.
