MARY CHRISTIAN SAUNDERS TABB

     Mrs. Mary Saunders Tabb, widow of George A. Tabb, and daughter of the late 
Major James R. and Mrs. Dinah Epps Saunders, died at her home, 210 Washington 
Street, yesterday afternoon at 2:45 o'clock after an illness of about five 
months.  She was 56 years old.

     Mrs. Tabb is survived by two daughters, Misses Frances A. and Mary Saunders 
Tabb; one sister, Mrs. Hersey Woodward, of Suffolk; three brothers, Le Roy E. 
Saunders, of Pittsburgh; Hamlin E. Saunders, of Savannah, Ga., and Paul E. 
Saunders, of Williston, Fla.  She was a consistent member of the Court Street 
Baptist Church.

     Funeral Services will be held in the Court Street Baptist Church, Wednesday 
afternoon at 3 o'clock.  Interment will be in Olive Grove Cemetery.
