Hill and Company by Dr. Harry J. Goodwin. Mrs. Claudia Jacobs, Miss Alma Jean Work and W.J. Work, accompanied by Mrs. W.J. Work, sang "In the Garden" and "Abide With Me." Mr. Work sang "The Old Rugged Cross." Pallbearers were John Darden, Linwood Bridger, Martin Harrell, Wilson Barnes, Ralph Barnes and Willard Tyler. Members of the Business Men's Bible Class of the First Baptist Church and friends were honorary pallbearers. Interment was in Cedar Hill cemetery. The casket was covered with a pall of madonna lilies, white carnations, red roses and baby's breath.
