MRS. EVVA L. TAYLOR 

  Mrs. Evva L. Taylor, age 71, widow of the late Charles C. Taylor, died 
suddenly Saturday at 8 p.m., at her home near Whaleyville. 

  Mrs. Taylor is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Arthur Phelps of Eure, 
North Carolina; Mrs. E.R. Lowe of Whaleyville; Mrs. J.T. Milteer of Holland; 
and one son, W.E. Taylor of Whaleyville; one sister, Mrs. W.T. Edney of 
Norfolk; one half sister, Miss Hunter March of Somerton; three half brothers, 
Harvey March of Holland; Daughtrey March of Atlanta, Georgia; Bemmie [sic; 
Bennie] March of Somerton; and seven grandchildren and several nieces and 
nephews. 

  The body was taken to the I.O. Hill and Company funeral home where it will 
remain until Monday afternoon.  The funeral processions will leave the funeral 
home for the Whaleyville Methodist church at 3:20 p.m.  Services will be 
conducted at 4 p.m., by the Rev. J.W. Morrison.  Interment will be in the 
church cemetery.
