THOMAS Curtis James Thomas, 50, of 113 S. Broad St. died Wednesday at 6:50 p.m. A native of Stafford, he was a son of Mrs. Lillian Fitzgerald Thomas and the late Lloyd D. Thomas and the husband of Mrs. Evelyne Thomas. He was a 23-year retired Chief Warrant Officer of the U.S. Navy; member of Retired Officer's Association; Fleet Reserve Association; a member of Suffolk Cosmopolitan Club Virginia Public Health Association and a member and an immediate past president of Tidewater Association of Sanitarians. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Marcus of Nuremburg, Germany; three sons, Michael Thomas, Kenneth Thomas and Kevin J. Thomas of Suffolk; and a sister, Mrs. Milton D. Coe of Ridgefield, Conn. The body was taken to R.W. Baker Funeral Home where services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday conducted by the Rev. Peter Van Ganzewinkel.
