He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Lynchburg Masonic Lodge. Mr. Tyree is survived by his widow Ruth Brinkley Tyree; one daughter, Anne Christian; two brothers, Walter P. and Charlie of Lynchburg; two sisters, Mrs. C.H. Allmond and Mrs. E.R. Bell, of Richmond, and several nieces and nephews. The body will be brought to the R.W. Baker Funeral Home at 4 p.m., today and remain there until 3:30 p.m., tomorrow, when funeral services will be conducted by Dr. A.L. Franklin of the Main Street Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill cemetery.
