[...] Suffolk, Va., Sept. 10. - [...] MR. TURNER DEAD. Mr. George W. Turner, a well-known citizen of Savage's Crossing, Va., died today, aged about 65 years. He had been ill several weeks. The funeral will take place at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon from Liberty Spring Christian church. The deceased was a member there. Mr. Turner leaves a widow, four daughters - Mrs. Joe Harrell, Mrs. Charles Badger, Miss Ida Turner and Miss Laura Turner, and two sons, Frank Turner, of Savage's Crossing, and George Turner, of Port Norfolk. Mr. Turner was a good man and citizen, and was well thought of by his neighbors. He was a Confederate veteran. George W.
