MRS. JENNIE H. TROTMAN 

  CHURCHLAND - Mrs. Jennie Holland Trotman, 88, died at 9:40 a.m. Friday in 
her home. 

  A native of Nansemond County, she was a daughter of Charles Everett and Mrs. 
Susie Jones Holland and the widow of Harry L. Trotman. 

  She was a member of Centenary Methodist Church, Churchland, and Elizabeth 
River Garden Club. 

  Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. George Syer of Churchland; two sons, Harry L. 
Trotman Jr. of Churchland and Herbert H. Trotman of Virginia Beach; a sister, 
Miss Susie Holland of Churchland; three grandchildren; and seven great-
grandchildren. 

  A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in her home by the Rev. 
Wilmer A. Blankenbaker and Dr. H.S. Hardcastle.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill 
Cemetery, Suffolk. 

  The body will be taken from Suffolk's R.W. Baker & Company Funeral Home to 
her home at 9:30 a.m. Monday. 

  The family has requested that flowers be omitted.
