Carl Terrell, 74, Stricken At Residence 

  Carl Gregg Terrell, 74, died unexpectedly today at 11:30 a.m. at his home, 
106 Linden Ave. 

  He was a retired employee of the Standard Oil Company and was a member of 
Main Street Methodist Church. 

  He was the son of the late Thomas Terrell and Alice Jenkins Terrell of 
Gastonia, N.C. 

  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mattie Love Terrell of the home, a 
daughter, Mrs. Allen Roy of Washington, a granddaughter, Mrs. Kenneth Slant, 
of Chevy Chase, Md., four brothers, Claude J. Terrell of Greensboro, N.C.; 
Guy E. Terrell of Hampton; George F. Terrell of Mt. Holly, N.C., and Everett 
A. Terrell of Charleston, W.Va. 

  The body was taken to Hill Funeral Home.  Funeral arrangements will be 
announced later.

interred in Cedar Hill Cemetery (Block D, Lot 3*), Suffolk,
