(Snooks) Traylor, 53, of 322 Hill St. died Sunday at 1 p.m. in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital after an illness of several months. A native of Suffolk, he owned and operated a grocery at the corner of Pinner Street and Central Avenue 21 years. He was a member of Main Street Methodist Church and its Methodist Men's Club. He was the husband of Mrs. Lottie Mae Johnson Traylor and a son of the late Herbert Leslie and Mrs. Lucille Holland Traylor. Besides his widow, surviving are two brothers, Ben C. Traylor of Suffolk and Hunter H. Traylor of Silver Spring, Md.; two nephews; and a niece. A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in I. O. Hill & Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. John Teter with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
