Funeral Held Today For William Turner 

  Funeral services were held this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock for William J. 
Turner, aged 62, who died yesterday morning at his home in Nansemond county 
near Holy Neck Christian Church, at the grave in the family cemetery. 

  The Rev. Arnold Slater conducted the services. 

  He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. O.L. Holland, Misses Ina E. and 
Edna T. Turner, of the County; a son, William Lee Turner of Suffolk; two 
grandchildren, Otis Lee and Howard T. Holland, a sister, Mrs. John Ward, of 
Sedley; two brothers, Arthur Turner, of Franklin, and S.P. Turner, of Suffolk.
