He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jeanette Turner; three sons, Howard V., Otis M. and Owen P. Turner, of Portsmouth, and five daughters, Mrs. Lola V. Shackleford and Mrs. W.F. Lee, of this city; Mrs. J P. Haydell, of New Orleans; Miss Frances Turner, of this city, and Miss Mary Turner, of New York. Funeral service will be conducted at the residence tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suffolk. ****************************************************************************** LATEST NEWS OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH FUNERALS Jeremiah Norfleet Turner, who died Monday at his residence, 1034 North street, Park View, was buried yesterday afternoon in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suffolk. Funeral services were conducted at the residence at 2 o'clock by the Rev. Sam F. Hudson, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church. During the services "Does Jesus Care?" and "The Old Rugged Cross" were sung. The pallbearers were R.W. Williams, O.G. Hundley, Charles Higginbotham, J.H. Pendleton, John H. Ford and W.G. Creecy.
