TURNER SUFFOLK - Mrs. Pearl Lucas Turner, 60, of 545 Second Ave., Suffolk, died Sunday in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Suffolk and a member of the First Baptist Church, Suffolk. She was also a nurses aide at Louise Obici Memorial Hospital for eight years. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Rose T. Jory of Suffolk, a step daughter, Mrs. Thelma T. Copeland of Suffolk; four sons, Robert Turner, Perry Turner, and Joel Turner, all of Suffolk, and Micheal Turner of Emporia; two stepsons, James A. Turner of Baltimore, Md. and Randolph Turner of Suffolk; eight grandchildren; and seven step grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in he Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home, by the Rev. Jack B. Lyles. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Pearl Isabel (LUCAS TURNER; Mrs. James A.)
