Rubert Turner 

  A funeral service for Rubert Whitfield Turner was held Tuesday at 2 p.m. 
in the Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home by Dr. Emory W. Byrum and Rev. George 
Turner. 

  Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Donald Carter, Randolph 
Turner, Dick Foster, Herman S. Foster, Dewey Howell and Larry Carter.

b. 4 Sep 1908, Isle of Wight Co., d. 3 Jun 1984, Chesapeake, 
interred in Cedar Hill Cemetery (Block G, Lot 136*), Suffolk, 5 Jun 1984, 
"Suffolk (VA) News-Herald," Vol. 62, No. 135, Wed., June 6, 1984, p. 2

His parents, Alonza Luther Whitley & Rosa Belle (LAWRENCE) TURNER, are buried
