   ALICE ELIZABETH UZZELLE. 

  Alice Elizabeth, the little daughter 
of Officer and Mrs. A. L. Uzzel,  died 
Wednesday morning at 2:40 o'clock at 
the home,  307 Main  street,  aged 10 
months and 12 days. 
  The funeral was conducted at An- 
tioch Christian church Thursday, at 
4:30 o'clock, by Rev. H. H. Butler. 
The body was interred in the church 
cemetery.

Alice Elizabeth UZZELL, daughter of "Algie" L. & Goldie M. (UNDERWOOD) UZZELL, 
b. 11 Aug 1913, Suffolk, d. 24 Jun 1914, at home, Suffolk, 
interred in Antioch Christian Church Cemetery*, 25 Jun 1914,

Neither hers nor her father's graves are marked, and neither appear on:

The only grave marked within her family plot of her paternal grandfather, 
John F. UZZELL, is that of her grandmother Elizabeth J. (ATKINS) UZZELL 
(1855-1916).  The plot is marked with the initials "JFU."

Alice's father, Suffolk patrolman "Algie" Algernon L. UZZELL, died 
28 Nov 1915, in Suffolk, age circa 36.  His (donated) obits:

Alice's mother Goldie May (1884-1973) remarried twice, to David F. DARDEN 
(Nans 1917/212), and to Joseph T. BROCK (1873-1962).  She & Joseph are buried 
in Oakland Christian Church Cemetery, near Chuckatuck.
