Vaughan departed this life February 10 (sic), 1906 and went to join her husband who preceded her many years ago. Mrs. Vaughan had been a great sufferer for quite awhile but bore it with great fortitude. Funeral services were conducted from Beaver Dam Church by Rev. Clark in the presence of a large gathering of relatives and friends. Flowers profuse and beautiful. She was a devoted mother, consecrated Christian and loved by all who knew her. Weep not dear children, "Thy will must be done," mother is at rest, strive to emulate those dear and noble examples made by her and some day join mother in the celestial home where there will be no parting. ------------------------------- Carrsville Notes.
