She was a daughter of the late William Norfleet Harrell and Henrietta King Harrell of Nansemond County. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Wilmer Jenkins of Durham, N.C., and Mrs. Charles H. Murden, Jr., of San Mateo, Calif.; two sons, Sgt. W.W. Wagner of Walter Reid Hospital, Washington, and Charles L. Wagner Jr., of Suffolk; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The body was taken to the Hill Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. ****************************************************************************** Mrs. Ruth H. Wagner SUFFOLK - Mrs. Ruth Harrell Wagner, 79, of 219 Bank St., died Monday at 11 p.m. at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital after a short illness. She was a daughter of the late William Norfleet Harrell and Henrietta King Harrell of Nansemond County and Charles L. Wagner. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Wilma Jenkins of Durham, N.C., and Mrs. Charles Murden Jr., of San Mateo, Calif., and two sons, Sgt. W.W. Wagner of Walter Reid Hospital, Washington, and Charles L. Wagner Jr. of Suffolk, six grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday [sic] at 4 p.m. at the Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. George D. Alley. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. ****************************************************************************** Mrs. Ruth Wagner Rites Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Harrell Wagner, who died Monday, were conducted Wednesday, at 4 p.m. at the Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. George D. Alley, pastor of the Suffolk Christian Church. Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mr. Alley read the hymn "Now the Labours' Task is O'er." The casket was covered with a pall of red and white carnations and white gladioli. Pallbearers were William Wellington Jones, Roy Jones, John Henry Powell, Jack Leggett, Vonoe Annas, Vernon Eberwine, Bruce Eberwine, Earl Eberwine, Kemp Duke and J. Frank Culpepper.
