Jesse F. Wyatt Dies At Home Here Last Night 

  Jesse F. Wyatt, age 24, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.J. Wyatt, died at his home 
here, 202 Brooks avenue, last night at 7:05 o'clock.  Mr. Wyatt had been ill 
for several weeks. 

  In addition to his parents, Mr. Wyatt is survived by a half-brother, James 
Wyatt, and his grandmother, Mrs. Polly Wyatt, all of Suffolk. 

  Funeral services will be held at the Wyatt residence tomorrow at 4 p.m. 
Burial will be in Cedar Hill cemetery.  The Rev. E.C. Dean, pastor of the 
West End Baptist Church, will be in charge of the service.

His paternal grandparents, James Isaac & "Polly" Mary (HOLLAND) WYATT, 
   are buried in Block F, Lot 15.

His maternal grandparents, Doctor Franklin "Frank" & "Sallie" Sarah Jane 
   (SHAW) WIGGINS, are buried in Mount Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, 
   Columbus Co., NC. 

Frank was a Confederate & Union veteran.  As a private in Co. K, 20th NC 
   Infantry, he was wounded at Malvern Hill, and captured at Gettysburg. 
   He took the Oath of Allegiance 24 Jan 1864 at Point Lookout, MD, and 
   joined Co. B, 1st US Volunteer Infantry.
