WYATT, 61, DIES THIS AFTERNOON Former City Employee Was Kicked by Horse Last Wednesday J.J. Wyatt, 61, died at a local hospital this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, following injuries received when he was kicked by a horse last Wednesday. Mr. Wyatt was formerly employed by the City of Suffolk, and the accident was said to have occurred at the City lots. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Carrie Wyatt, one son, James F. Wyatt, both of Suffolk, three grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Newton Piland of Norfolk, Mrs. Mamie Butler of Buckhorn, Mrs. Lucy Byrd, Suffolk, four brothers, Alonza Wyatt of Norfolk, John Wyatt of Buckhorn, Willie and Elisha Wyatt, both of Suffolk. Several nieces and nephews. The body was taken to the funeral home of I.O. Hill and Company to await funeral arrangements.
