Nathaniel Withers Riddick, Jr. Suffolk, Aug. 8 - Nathaniel Riddick Withers, Jr., 52, of New York, former resident of Suffolk, died today at 3:30 a.m. at his home after a heart attack. He was a son of Mrs. N.R. Withers, 510 North Main Street, and the late Mr. Withers. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucille Withers; a son, Nathaniel Riddick Withers, III, of New York; his mother; two brothers, Melville E. Withers, of Miami, and Robert W. Withers, of Greenville, S.C., and two sisters, Mrs. Dudley Rollings and Mrs. B.E. Carr, of Suffolk. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 3 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church by the Rev. John A. Winslow, rector. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. ****************************************************************************** N. R. WITHERS, JR. Funeral services for Nathaniel Riddick Withers, Jr., who died at his home in New York city, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with the Rev. John A. Winslow, rector, officiating. Burial will take place in Cedar Hill Cemetery. He was a native of Suffolk and the son of Mrs. Mary Ethridge [sic; Etheredge] Withers of Suffolk and the late N.R. Withers, Sr. Other than his mother he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucille S. Withers; a son, Nathaniel Riddick Withers, III, both of New York; two brothers, Melville Ethridge Withers, of Miami, Florida and Robert Walter Withers, of Greenville, S.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Withers Rollings and Mrs. Mary Withers Carr, both of Suffolk. The body will arrive in Norfolk tomorrow morning at 9:45 a.m. and will be taken to the R.W. Baker Funeral Home, where it will remain until 2:45 o'clock, at which time it will be taken to the church.
