A native of Annapolis, she was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Women of the Church, Altar Guild, and Virginia Society for the Preservation of Antiquities. She was the wife of Richard L. Woodward III, a former Suffolk mayor, and a daughter of John Adolphus and Mrs. Alice Letitia Browne Delvis. Besides her husband, surviving are two sons, Army Maj. Gen. Gilbert Hume Woodward of Alexander and John Delvis Woodward of Massapequa, Long Island, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 4 p.m. in Cedar Hill Cemetery by the Rev. James H. Newsom Jr. The funeral procession will leave I.O. Hill & Co. Funeral Home at 3:45 p.m. Thursday for the cemetery. The family has requested that flowers be omitted. [Gladys Alida (DELVES; Mrs. Richard L.
