Woodward, died at 6 o’clock this morning, aged 68 years, at her home, No. 2 Bank Street. Mrs. Woodward had been in feeble health several months, by her last illness began on New Year’s Day. The funeral will be conducted by Dr. W.W. Staley from the residence at noon tomorrow. Mrs. Woodward was a good woman. She leaves a daughter - Mrs. Mary, wife of Judge R.H. Rawls - two sons - Hersey Woodward, discount clerk in the Farmers' Bank, and R.L. Woodward, of the firm of Woodward & Elam and several grandchildren. She was a sister of Mrs. Maria Smith, of Rochester, N.Y., and former Mayor C.W. Lassiter, who now has a position in the Treasury Department, Washington. These will be pallbearers: C.A. Shoop, W.W. Eley, W.H. Jones, Jr., William E. Hines, W.J. Cohoon, T.W. Smith, W.B. Ferguson, W. G. Elam. Missouri (LASSITER; Mrs. Richard L.) Her husband was killed during the Siege of Petersburg, and buried there. His brother James had him re-interred in Cedar Hill.
