(Special to Virginian-Pilot.) Suffolk, Va., May 2 - The funeral of Mrs. Maria Woodward, who died at her home in Norfolk yesterday morning were brought to Suffolk this afternoon for interment beside her husband, the late James Woodward, in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The funeral took place in Norfolk, being conducted by Rev. R.M. Chandler, pastor of Centenary Methodist Church, who also read the burial service at the grave. A number of relatives and friends came her from Norfolk, among them the following gentlemen, who acted as pallbearers: S.B. Harrell, Thomas A. Jones, L. Clay Kilby, L.W. White, W.D. Roberts, George W. Morse, Thomas J. Nottingham and Walter J. Simcoe.
