Walls Passes Away Yesterday At Her Home In Nansemond County After Brief Illness. Mrs. Pauline Elizabeth [sic; Eley] Walls, 66, wife of J.C. Walls, near Nurneyville in Nansemond county, died yesterday morning after a brief illness at her home. Mrs. Walls was a daughter of the late Walter Eley and Mrs. Nancy Riddick Eley, and is survived by her husband, a daughter, Miss Marian Eley Walls, of Nansemond county; two sons, W.C. Walls, of Texas, and Police Officer E.J. Walls, of Suffolk; a sister, Mrs. L.L. Broadwater, of Jacksonville, Fla., one brother Eugene Eley, of Portsmouth, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at Cypress Chapel Christian Church, and will be conducted by the Rev. R.E. Brittle and Dr. W.W. Staley. Interment will be in family plot near Cypress Chapel.
