Baker & Co. Funeral Home by the Rev. Norwood C. Starling. Burial was in Holly Lawn cemetery. Wilson died Monday afternoon in Louise Obici Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Wayne County, N.C., and the widow of James Marion Wilson. She was a member of Suffolk Pentecostal Holiness Church and its Ladies Auxiliary and formerly taught Sunday school. Survivors include eight daughters, Mrs. Ruth Joyner of Sedley, Mrs. Mabel Byrum, Mrs. Hazel Johnson, Mrs. Grace Mason, Mrs. Lauretta Edwards, Mrs. Hannah Hogan, and Mrs. Anna Robertson of Suffolk, and Mrs. Jean Robertson of Durant, Okla; three sons, Roy M. Wilson of Houston, Tex, John M. Wilson of Norfolk, and James H. Wilson of Stephenville, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Remus Askew, of Silver Spring, MD; a brother Nathan Potter of Goldsboro, N.C.; 32 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
