Rites Wednesday At Funeral Home For Mrs. Wilkins 

  Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy Jane Baines Wilkins will be conducted 
Wednesday at 2 p.m. to the Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert B. Marr, 
pastor of the Suffolk Christian Church.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill 
Cemetery. 

  Mrs. Wilkins, died Monday at 9:15 p.m. in her home, 437 Jackson St., after 
a long illness. 

  She was a daughter of the late James E. and Mrs. Josephine Griffin Baines 
of Nansemond County.  She was a member of Suffolk Christian Church. 

  Surviving are her husband, G. Wallace Wilkins of the home; two sons, James 
W. Wilkins and Ervin C. Wilkins of Suffolk; a sister, Mrs. Mattie L. Jones 
of Portsmouth, and three brothers, J.O. Baines of Cypress Chapel, Leroy Baines 
of Suffolk and Caleb Baines of Norfolk; and one granddaughter and one great-
grandson.
