WILKINS WINDSOR -- William Claiborne (Blue) Wilkins, 56, died Monday night enroute to Louise Obici Memorial Hospital after suffering a heart attack. A native of Nansemond County, he was the husband of Mrs. Elizabeth Holland Wilkins and a son of the late Willis Lee and Mrs. Selma Butler Wilkins. He was a farmer and a member of the Men's Bible Class and Workmen Fellowship of Antioch Christian Church. Besides his widow, surviving are a son, William Earl Wilkins, and a daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Chapman of Windsor; two brothers, Richard Leigh Wilkins of Windsor and Fred B. Wilkins of Suffolk; and two sisters, Miss Selma B. Wilkins of Windsor and Mrs. Junius Bradshaw of Franklin. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Rev. George W. Core of Virginia Beach and the Rev. William A. Grissom of Windsor Christian Church.
