ALICE OPHELIA MILTEER WILKERSON

   Suffolk, Oct. 2 - Mrs. Ophelia Wilkerson, 63, widow of Robert L. Wilkerson, 
and a prominent resident of Nansemond County, died at her home near Chuckatuck 
this morning.  She was taken suddenly ill and lived but a few hours.

   She is survived by the following children: Robert J. Wilkerson, Mrs. Joe E. 
Holland, Mrs. J.M. Etheredge, Miss Marion Wilkerson and George Wilkerson, all 
of Nansemond County.

   Funeral services will be held at Wesley Chapel Methodist Church, at 
Chuckatuck, Saturday afternoon at 3 o’clock.
