CAPITOLA SIMONS WILLIAMS 

MRS. C.S. WILLIAM BURIED SUNDAY 

  Mrs. Capitola Simons Williams, 77, widow of Joseph Franklin Williams, died 
Sept. 3rd at 1:30 a.m. at her home, in Suffolk after a long illness.

  She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Simons of Isle of Wight 
County and a member of the First Baptist Church of Suffolk.

  Surviving are a son, Simon [sic; Simons] G. Williams of Smithfield, and 
several nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services were held at the I.O. Hill Funeral Home Sunday at 2:30 p.m. 
by the Rev. Sidney Cobb of Whaleyville and the Rev. Raymond Cardwell of 
Smithfield.  Burial was in the Western Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
