All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ Mrs. Williamson Buried Yesterday Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Hill Williamson, who died Monday night at a Norfolk hospital after an illness of several weeks, were held yesterday afternoon at the Hill Funeral Home. The Rev. Graham McChesney, pastor of the Suffolk Presbyterian Church, and the Rev. Walter M. Lockett, pastor of the Larchmont Methodist Church, Norfolk, were the officiating ministers. The Rev. McChesney read the hymn "There Is a Calm Beyond Life's Fitful Fever." The pall was of white chrysanthemums and red roses. Active pallbearers were H. Page Johnson, J.K. Eaton, J. Stoney Drake, Jr., W. Lee Flaugher, Russell T. Bradford, J. Oscar Atkinson, Charles G. Thedick and John Hall Williamson. Honorary pallbearers were friends of the family from Suffolk and Norfolk.
