WILLIAMS Funeral services for Joseph T. Williams, 80, prominent Nansemond county farmer, who succumbed Wednesday after a prolonged illness, will he held at the graveside, Bethlehem church oemetery, 2:30 o'clock Friday afternon. The body will be carried from R.F. Baker & Company's Funeral Home this afternoon to the residence of Mrs. J.C. Webb, 606 West Washington street, where it will remain until Friday. Mr. Williams was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thaddeus Williams. Besides his widow, he is survived by three sons. Joseph T. Williams, Jr., Thomas A. Williams, Hatcher W. Williams, all of Nansemond county: three daughters, Mrs. H.L. Cross, Mrs. Marvin Whitley and Mrs. J.C. Webb, all of Suffolk. Twenty grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Mrs. B.B. Knight of Suffolk and Mrs. Maude Johnson of Portsmouth. Mr. Williams was a member of the Suffolk Christian church. Dr. John R. Truitt and the Rev. R.E. Brittle will officiate at the funeral services. Pallbearers: Joe Williams, Wendell Williams, Thaddeus Williams, Calhoun Webb, Jr., Jack Webb and Harry Cross. Friends of the family will be honorary pallbearers.
