Gustavius Williams, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Providence Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Dr. W.W. Staley, of Suffolk, assisted by the Rev. Dr. W.D. Harward, of the Windsor Christian Church. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suffolk. Active pallbearers will be L.W. Williams, Paul Powell, J. Bunyan Archer, David Savage, J.H. Powell, R.A. Daughtrey, George Bunting, W.W. Ballard; honorary, Dr. G. Richardson Joyner, Dr. J. Lewis Rawls, Buck Ashburn, Richie Joyner, Bill Wright, Willie Lassiter, M.C. Nelms, Sidney Mc Clenny, J.T. Williams, A.D. Hingerty, Nat Gray, Jessie Williams, J.W. Jordan, Willie Stone. Surviving Mrs. Williams, who was 68 years old, are Mrs. R. Wesley Nelms, Mrs. W.F. Pierce, Miss Marie Williams, daughters; George W. Williams, Harrison H. Williams, Jack F. Williams, Otto D. Williams, sons; 18 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. J.F. Williams, of Suffolk.
