All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ Mrs. Sadie Williams Rites Set Saturday Funeral services for Mrs. Sadie Mae Glaus Williams will be conducted Saturday at 3 p.m. at Bethlehem Christian Church by the Rev. R.E. Brittle, pastor. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be taken from the Hill Funeral home to the church Saturday at 1:30 p.m. to lie in state one hour prior to the services. Mrs. Williams, 55, of 1511 Hillsdale Community on the Holland Road, died Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at the Obici Memorial Hospital after a long illness. The daughter of the late Frank Glaus of Germany and Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Rountree Glaus of Nansemond County. She was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church. Surviving are her husband, Cecil G. Williams, Sr.; two daughters, Mrs. J.O. Davidson of Holland and Mrs. J.L. March of Carrsville; two sons, Cecil G. Williams Jr. and Frank M. Williams, both of Suffolk; one sister, Mrs. C.T. Baker of the North Carolina Highway; three brothers, the Rev. H.A. Glaus of Richmond, R.W. Glaus of Norfolk and A.B. Glaus of Chester, Pa.; six grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
