  Rev. W. B. Wellons, of the Christian 
Church, and a well-known temperance 
advocate, died at Suffolk, Va., on Fri- 
day. 


Rev. William Brock WELLONS, 
Christian pastor & publisher, former Confederate chaplain, 
b. 9 Nov 1821, Sussex Co., d. 16 Feb 1877, Suffolk, 
interred in Cedar Hill Cemetery (Block C, Lot 64*), Suffolk, 
"Staunton (VA) Spectator," Vol. 54, No. 22, Feb. 20, 1877, p. 2, col. 3
