All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ JASPER CARL WILROY Jasper Carl Wilroy, 70, brother of Mrs. Amos Pope of Drewryville and Mrs. Wallace White of Boykins, died Thursday, August 22, at Miller’s Tavern, King and Queen County. Mr. Wilroy was a former resident of Driver, and the husband of the late Myrtle Watson Wilroy. He was a member of the Berea Christian Church, Driver. In addition to his sisters, he is survived by a son, J. Carl Wilroy, Jr., of Ahoskie, N.C.; two granddaughters, Legare and Gypsy Wilroy of Ahoskie; three brothers, T.N. Wilroy of Galveston, Tex., L.H. Wilroy of Driver and J.L. Wilroy of Chester, Pa. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 4 p.m. at the graveside in Holly Lawn Cemetery, Suffolk, by Rev. Ellis N. Clark, pastor of Cypress Chapel Christian Church. (CAPPS) WILROY, and step-mother & maternal aunt Rebecca (CAPPS WILROY; Mrs. Robert W.) BRINKLEY, are buried in a WILROY family cemetery, off Sleepy Hole Rd. However, the area has been developed as a subdivision since it was recorded (Jan 2008). Photos of the graves posted at Find a Grave (by Michael R.
