WALRAVEN DEAD. Mrs. Walraven, widow of the late Jonas Walraven, died today at Chuckatuck, Va., aged 80 years. The funeral will take place Saturday afternoon from St. John's P.E. church. The deceased was nearly related to the first wife of Captain E.C. Ramsey, of Chuckatuck, and of Mrs. Herbert West, of Suffolk. ****************************************************************************** Suffolk, Va., Sept. 10. - (Special.) - [...] GOOD WOMAN GONE. The funeral of Mrs. Henrietta Walraven, death already has been reported in this correspondence took place this afternoon from St. John's P.E. church, near Chuckatuck. The exercises were conducted by Rev. John H. Dickenson, of Richmond, Va., who formerly was rector of St. John's. The burial was in the church cemetery, the following being pallbearers: W.A. Wills, W.C. Whitney, Col. J.J. Phillips, Wesley Chapman, Dr. George W. Butts and J. Holladay Parker. The deceased was the mother of Mrs. Mary Walraven Ramsey and has been not only a devoted grandmother but a mother to her children. They would not have her back, but grieve to give her up. She was devoted to her church and interested in all its work - a worthy example to all who knew her. None knew her but to love her.
