Womack Funeral Is Held Friday 

  Funeral services for Frank Wilson Womack, who died Wednesday night, were 
held Friday afternoon at the I.O. Hill Funeral Home.  Dr. W.H.T. Squires, of 
Norfolk, and the Rev. Graham McChesney, pastor of the Suffolk Presbyterian 
Church, officiated. 

  Pallbearers were Pym Wilson, Louis Daniels, Wallace Gwaltney, William S. 
Holland, B.A. Kelly, Joseph Hand, Clarence B. Robertson, J. Emmett Hines, 
M.E. Neal and Harvard Birdsong.  Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

His father, James Watson WOMACK (1866 - 1925), & step-mother are buried in 
  the same lot.

His mother, Leonora "Nora" (WILSON) WOMACK (1867 - 1901), is buried in 
  Westview Cemetery, Farmville. 

His mother & step-mother Mattie J. (WILSON) WOMACK (ca. 1863 - 1928), were 
  sisters, daughters of Nathaniel Clay & Laura C. (JEFFERESS) WILSON.  Their 
  father was a Confederate veteran, have served as a corporal in Co. A, 18th 
  VA Infantry.  Nathaniel & Laura are buried in a WILSON family cemetery, 
  Madisonville, Charlotte Co.
