Wright Funeral services for George C. Wright of Nansemond County, who died Tuesday in a local hospital, were conducted yesterday at the Holland Christian Church with the pastor. Rev. W.B. O'Neill, and Rev. R.E. Brittle officiating. The church choir sang, "Going Down the Valley" and "Abide With Me." W.W. Darden sang, "The Old Rugged Cross." The casket was covered with a pall of white chrysanthemums, carnations and pink roses. Active pallbearers were J.M. Reid, W.H. Howell, Thomas Jones, Wade Hampton, Jude Rawls, J.T. Harrell, John Norfleet and G.D. Underwood.
