Suffolk, Va., Dec. 14. - [...] DEATHS. [...] Nathaniel Wright, 74 years old, died today at his home in Nansemond county. [...] ****************************************************************************** Suffolk Letter. [...] Nathaniel Wright, who died some five miles from Suffolk, and who would have been 74 on 16th, died on night of the 13th of this month. He was a member of Bethlehem church, and the funeral services were conducted from the church on Saturday afternoon. Pastor H.H. Butler was at Antioch church and hence the duty fell upon me. He was one of the old types of plain, industrious, honest, religious men. He attended to his own business, trained his children, to love Christ and the church, and : was faithful to all the relations of life. His good name lingers among his friends. He was willing to go. His second wife died just two months before him. He leaves two married daughters, one single daughter, and eleven grandchildren. They have hope of reunion in the house with many mansions. [...] W.W.
