MUNFORD (c1833-5/1864) was indeed b. VA (likely in Isle of Wight Co.), son of Nathan MOUNTFORD/MUNFORD 1m. Lavinia. Her mother Sallie Ann STEPHENSON (c1835-2/28/1885) 1m. 12/6/1859 George W. MUNFORD, and 2m. 2/8/1885, James M. PIERCE (c1836-1904)- both in Isle of Wight Co. She bore at least 3 children to each. Jennie was nicknamed "Jincy," after Sallie mother, Jincy (JONES; Mrs. Gilbert) STEPHENSON. Jennie had a twin sister Lavina, who apparently died as a child. She does not appear in the 1870 Census.
