Pinner, Commissioner of Accounts of the County of Nansemond, respectfully reports to Court that J. Walter Hosier the Administrator of the Estate of John Shepherd, deceased, has exhibited before your Commissioner a statement of all money received by him as said Administrator and with which he became chargeable, and all of the money disbursed by him during the period from the 11th day of March, 1901 to the 2d day of April, 1901, together with the vouchers for his disbursements; that with such statement and vouchers before him your Commissioner has stated settled and completed the foregoing account of the transactions of said Administrator for the period aforesaid, showing no balance to be due by the said Administrator to the said Estate and none by said Estate to him on the 2d day of April, 1901; that the said account is supported by satisfactory vouchers; that upon examination your Commissioner finds that the said Administrator has given such bond as the law requires in a penalty and with surety deemed sufficient; that the Administrator has returned with said account a certificate of deposit issued by the Farmer's Bank of Nansemond for the sum of Thirteen Dollars and Two Cents ($13.02) which certificate is payable to the order of the Guardian for Gertrude Shepherd upon presentation of proper credentials as such. Or to said to Gertrude Shepherd herself upon her attaining her majority she being a minor and daughter of said John Shepherd; that the said Administrator was embraced in the list of fiduciaries posted at the front door of the Courthouse of said County, on the 8th day of July, 1901, that being the first day of the term of the County Court held for said County in the month of July, 1901; and that more than ten days have passed since said list was posted as aforesaid. Respectfully submitted this 19th day of February, 1902. John B. Pinner Commissioner of Accounts Virginia: At a County Court continued and held for the County of Nansemond, at the Courthouse, on Thursday the 12th day of March, 1903. This report of the account of the transactions of J. Walter Hosier Administrator of the Estate of John Shepherd, deceased from the 11th day of March, 1901, to the 2nd day of April, 1901 (which report was filed in the office of the Clerk of this Court on the 19th day of February, 1902 by John B. Pinner, Commissioner of Accounts and has remained in said office more than one month) was this day examined by the Court; and no exceptions having been filed thereto, and no errors appearing on the face thereof, the Court doth confirm the said report together with said account, and order that the same be recorded according to law. And it appearing from said account that the distributive share of said Estate amounting to the sum of thirteen dollars and two cents belonging to Gertrude the daughter of said John Shepherd, now the wife of John Jacob Brinkley, was deposited in the Farmer's Bank of Nansemond, by said Administrator while she was a minor and before her marriage to said John Jacob Brinkley, to be paid to her guardian or to herself in person upon her arrival at the age of twenty one years if there should be no such guardian; and it further appearing that the said Gertrude Brinkley has arrived at the age of twenty one years and also that her said share of said estate still remains on deposit in said bank as evidenced by certificate Number 4559 of said bank filed with said account it is further ordered that said certificate for said sum of money be delivered by the Clerk of this Court to said John Jacob Brinkley or his said wife Gertrude, upon his leaving with him a receipt therefore to be filed with said account and that said bank pay the said sum of money with the interest due thereon to said John Jacob Brinkley or his said wife.
