Cemetery: Seay Family Cemetery Contributor: Dennis Truslow Visited on November 7, 2001 by Charlie and Dennis Truslow --------------------------------------------------------------- Seay's Family Cemetery is located on private property owned by George William Seay. Mr. Seay's farm is located on Rt 623, that runs next to Davis Creek, approximately 4.1 miles from Rt. 29. The cemetery is located on a hill behind their house at longitude 37, 48, 49 N; latitude 78, 54, 74 W, and an elevation of 1,217 ft. The Seay's family graves are located within a fenced area about twenty feet square. The iron fence is in broken down and need of repair. Other friends and relatives are buried within a grove of small trees next to the fenced area. Most of the older graves are marked with fieldstones, some still have initials or names inscribed but most have been eroded by the weather. Those that were readable are list below. Mucie D.
