Harrower Cemetery Location: 4 miles southeast of Arrington near Route #661. Take this route at Arrington, go southeast 4 miles to intersection of Route #722, follow power line north about .25 mile, then turn west, directly toward foot of mountain, into a dense piece of pines. Nelson County, Virginia DATE: 1804, first date on stones. OWNERS: (blank) DESCRIPTION: There are several graves at this burial ground, some of which are enclosed by rock wall about twenty by twenty feet, some in wire enclosure, and some not enclosed at all. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Inscription on soapstone slab: Sacred to the Memory of Cornelia T. Nash Born, September 3, 1804 Died, January 1, 1883 Aged 79 Years, 9 months, and 2 days The other stone is a soapstone slab which has decomposed with age and weather until just one half of inscription is visible, which is: Corinne daughter Thomas This is on head-stone, and on the foot-stone are the letters: C.
