Harrower Cemetery Location: Graveyard is a few yards from house, 7 miles north of Lovingston, Virginia, on Route #29; thence 1.25 miles northwest on Route #6; thence 3 miles west on Route #634; thence .1 mile southwest on Route #629; house on private road 200 yards east of Route #629. Nelson County, Virginia DATE: 1852. OWNERS: David Witt and his descendants. DESCRIPTION: Just a few yards from the front yard in a level place is the old Witt burial ground. It is enclosed with an iron fence and is very well kept. There are about 10 graves which have no markers. Bird Witt is buried here but his grave is not marked. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Sacred to the memory of Abigail G. wife of Thomas M. Dickinson who was born Jan. 10, 1824 and died Oct. 3, 1854 Age 30 years, 3 mos. and 23 days. Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth In memory of Dicey Witt Wife of John W.
