DEED: Jones to Campbell SOURCE: Nelson County Deed Book 12, Page 571 CONTRIBUTOR: Sylvia Ray -------------------------------------------------------------- I hereby for value received for myself individually and as acting partner for Jones & Clarkson being the senior and acting partner of Robert C. Jones & Co. do hereby transfer, assign, and make over to Francis J. Campbell of the County of Nelson all the benefit that said several concerns have in a certain deed of trust recorded in the Clerk's Office of Nelson County bearing date the 6th day of October 1842 between Francis J. Campbell of the first part, Joseph M. Tompkins of the second part, and Robert C. Jones, Jones & Clarkson, and Robert C. Jones & Co. of the third part, only fifty dollars of which having been paid, all the balance of which is due and hereby transferred to said Francis J. Campbell, his heirs and assigns with full power to direct the Trustee to sell under said deed. Given under my hand and seal this the 26th day of November 1849 for myself, Jones & Clarkson, and Robert C. Jones & Co. Ro C.
