     This indenture made this 31st day of December 1847 between 
Lawson Campbell, Henry Campbell & George G. Campbell of the first 
part and Washington Campbell of the other part that for and in 
consideration of the sum of Twenty Five dollars to the said 
Lawson Campbell and the sum of Twenty Five dollars to the said 
Henry Campbell and Fifty Dollars to the said George G. Campbell 
in hand to each by the said Washington Campbell the receipt where 
of is hereby acknowledged without recourse they the said Lawson 
Campbell, Henry Campbell and George G. Campbell in his own right 
and in the right of Samuel Campbell by purchase which is duly 
recorded in the clerks office of Nelson County court has 
recognized and sold and declared by these present bargain sell 
and deliver alien _?_ and confirm to the said Washington Campbell 
and to his heirs forever in fee simple all their rights and 
interest both real and personal in the estate of their father 
William Campbell deceased to have and to hold the above interest 
both real and personal to the said Washington Campbell and his 
heirs forever in fee simple in witness where of the said Lawson 
Campbell, Henry Campbell and George G. Campbell have here unto 
set their hands & seals the day and year first above written.
