Deed - Lois M. Damron Anderson The following deeds were filed by Lois M. Damron Anderson who was settling the estate of her father, Leland Damron. She was buying her sisters' childrens shares of the estate. (Ed. Note: Floyd W. Anderson, Robert L. Anderson and Dolly F. Anderon were the children of Doritha Damron Anderson and William James Anderson) SOURCE: Nelson Co., VA Deed Book 27, page 358 This deed made and entered into this the 18th day of Oct, 1890, between Floyd W. Anderson of the first part and Lois M. Anderson of the 2nd part, all of the County of Nelson, State of Virginia. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of ten dollars, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the said party of the first part hereby grants & conveys unto the party of the second part, all his right, title and interest in the real & personal estate of Leland Dameron dec'd, including all money & evidences of debt that may be due the said Floyd W. Anderson by the administrator of said Estate by reason of said Floyd W. Anderson being entitled by reason of his mother, Dolly F. Anderson, who was a daughter of said Leland Dameron, dec'd and who was entitled to one-fifth part of the Estate of said Leland Dameron dec'd. who died interstate having no will. Therefore the said Floyd W. Anderson is entitled to one fourth part of all the estate & effects as hereinbefore mentioned, all of which is hereby conveyed to the said Lois M. Anderson and I moreover acquit & release the administrator aforesaid from any and all claims that I may have against him which is by reason of this deed conveyed unto the said Lois M. Anderson, a son of W. J. Anderson whose wife was Dolly F. Damron and a daughter of Leland Dameron, deceased, is entitled by law to one fourth interest as a distributee in the real and personal Estate of said Leland Dameron, dec'd who was the father of the said Ro. L. Anderson's mother, who is also dead. Now, therefore this deed made and entered into this the 1st day of February, 1892 between the said Robert L. Anderson of the first part, and Lois M. Anderson of the second part, all of the County of Nelson and State of Virginia. Witnesseth: That for and in consideration of the sum of Twenty Dollars, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the said Robert L. Anderson doth grant & convey unto the said Lois M. Anderson all his right, title and interest in all debts and personal property whatever or money that may be due the Estate of said Leland Damron, dec'd by his administrator Ro. T. Anderson or any money that may hereafter be due said estate by the admin. on settlement of his account as each - . And the said Ro. L. Anderson moreover grants and conveys unto the said Lois M. Anderson all his right and title to any interest that he may own in the real estate of said Leland Damron dec'd. which is due him as one of the heirs at law of Wm. J. & Dolly F. Anderson dec'd. And the said Robt. L. Anderson conveys all the foregoing premises with a general warranty against any person or persons caliming title to the same, and the said Ro. L. Anderson also agrees by these presents to forever acquit and discharge the said Ro. T. Anderson admin. of Leland Damron dec'd from any claims or claims that he may now or hereafter have against him as such adm. and also from any claim or claims that he may have against the said Ro. T. Anderson as guardian of him the said Ro. L. Anderson until he attained the age of twenty-one years old. This deed is intended to convey any and all of the rights of the said Ro. L. Anderson of the first part and Lois M. Anderson of the second part, witnesseth: That whereas the party of the first part is a daughter of Wm. J. Anderson and Dolly F. his wife who was a daughter of Leland Damron dec'd and by law entitled to one (1/5) part of the one (1/4) fourth of all the real as well as the personal estate of said Leland Damron dec'd. and for and in consideration of the sum of Twenty Dollars to her in hand paid by the party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the said Dolly F. Anderson hereby grants and conveys to the said Lois M. Anderson all her rights, title and interest to her one-fifth part of the one-fourth part of all the real estate of which Leland Damron owned at the time of his death and the said Dolly F. Anderson also grants and conveys unto the said Lois M. Anderson, all her rights, title and interest to all the personal property and estate of the said Leland Damron dec'd to which she is by law entitled to the one-fifth part of whatever might be due her mother Dolly F. Anderson who was a daughter of the said Leland Damron dec'd. including all personal property, debts, rents, profits and issues of whatever kind or species that might be due her as a distributee in the estate of the said Leland Damron dec'd.
