Deed - Jane Camden & John F. Camden Source: Nelson Co., VA Deed Book 12, PAGE 538 --------------------------------------------- Known all men by their presence that I Jane Camden of the county of Nelson has this day bargained and sold to John F. Camden of said County in consideration of the sum of $300.32 1/2 paid to me in property at valuation as by his bill of sale this day executed and delivered to me the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged all my right, title and interest as the wife of William W. Camden in the following parcel of land to wit; 20 1/2 acres and 81 1/2 acres allotted to me for dower in the tract of land on which William Camden lived at the time of his death by C. C. Patterson, Wiatt Jones and John H. Hill by virtue of a decree of the Circuit Court of Nelson County in the case of Jane Camden vs. John F. Camden which tract contained 288 acres also my dower right in said W. W. Camden interest in 300 acres laying on __?__ Creek, also my dower right in said W. W. Camden interest in the land laying in Nelson county belonging to the heirs of John Camden deceased or my right of dower in said Camden interest in the tract of land or which said John F. Camden now lives purchased of said William Camden in his lifetime by the said John F. Camden being the same tract on which their father, John Camden deceased lived. To have and to hold the said lands free from the claims of the land Jane Camden her heirs, executors or administrators to have and to hold the land John F.
