Campbell some money and this is the lien on his property. ---------------------------------------------------------- This indenture made and entered into this 2nd day of September 1843 between William W. Campbell of the first part, Washington Campbell of the second part and Daniel Goode of the third part, all of the county of Nelson and State of Virginia, Witnessed: that whereas the said William W. Campbell stands justly indebted to the said Daniel Goode in the sum of One Hundred and Sixty Four Dollars and Seventy Five cents current money of Virginia due by bond bearing even date with this indenture and payable on demand, and the said William W. Campbell willing and desirous to secure the payment of the said debt to Daniel Goode his heirs and assignees Now therefore this indenture further witnessed that for and in consideration of the promises and of the further sum of one dollar in hand paid by the said Washington Campbell to the said William W. Campbell, the receipt of which is here by acknowledged at and before the ensealing and delivering of these present be the said William W. Campbell hath this day bargained and sold alienated and released and confirmed unto the said Washington Campbell his heirs and assignees forever the following property to wit: a tract of land laying and being in said county of Nelson on the waters of Tye River containing one hundred and twenty and a half acres more or less where upon the said William W. Campbell now resides and is part of the tract of land formerly owned by Henry Campbell Dec'd- Father of the said William W. Campbell and adjoining the land of William S.
