Obituary: Carl Ingvae Aspliden, died Sept. 1, 2002 Source: The Daily Progress, September 3, 2002 Contributor: Dennis Truslow -------------------------------------------------------- Carl Ingvae Aspliden Dr. Carl Ingvae Henry Aspliden, 78, formerly of Arlington, and retired to Stoneridge Farm, Roseland, died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2002, at the University of Virginia Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Eleanor Tuttle Aspliden , and loving brother of Alfhild Werko, of Stockholm, Sweden. He was preceded in death by his sister, Elisabeth Braun. Dr. Aspliden was previously affiliated with the Florida State University, the University of Virginia, and retired from Battelle PNNL. A memorial service celebrating Dr. Aspliden's life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday morning at grace Lutheran Church, 500 S. Wayne Ave., Waynesboro, with the Rev. Robert Humphreys officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to a favorite charity.
